The
New Company was founded in 1989 to provide technical writing services to major
national magazines and local companies in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Our
mission is to provide the highest quality technical communications services to
national and local companies. When
company founder Amy Roffmann New began doing business as The New Company it was
in part to build on her experience as a journalist in business and technical
topics. The specialty of The New Company at that time
was to make technical topics clearly understandable to everyday audiences
- a sort of technical translation. At
the beginning of 2000, The New Company changed its service offerings from a
focus on technical writing and communication to knowledge management. The New
Company now provides tools and training to better use the knowledge assets a
company has already. We help you and your employees make the most of what you
know and help you identify the bits of knowledge that could help you go further,
faster. The
move to knowledge management was a natural offshoot of technical communications.
Strategic knowledge management has the same characteristics of knowledge
gathering in research activities and simplification for use by employees at a
variety of levels of sophistication. Our
secondary focus is on improving communication throughout your organization. When
your employees communicate effectively, their productivity increases
dramatically allowing for even greater revenue gains. We
would be happy to discuss any knowledge management or communications project
that you might have in mind. Please contact the New Company at 480-894-2226 to discuss your project or to set up an appointment. Copyright © 2000 [The New Company]. All rights reserved. |
